SKETCHUP MODEL PROGRESSION
Decided on continuing my second draft model which was featured in my previous post with the stairs.

Added the terrain
The bottom section is not yet up to date

2ND SKETCHUP DRAFT WITH STAIRS CONNECTING STUDIOS TO SHOWROOM

TOP STUDIO FOR ISSEY MIYAKE
Stair material: Smooth material which aligns with the 'shell' building.
May add a stringer and landing to the stairs. Not entirely satisfied with the stairs and may change later on.

BOTTOM STUDIO FOR LOUISE BOURGEOIS
"Stair Forest"
Inspired by Carlo Scarpa
 Close up view
A cluster of stairs with multiple adventurous pathways which makes the stairs appear to grow out of the ground. I have also changed the surface texture and shape of the bottom layer from my last post as it was too angular before. The angular aspect has been delivered through these stairs. It is still incomplete and will be adding more stairs to connect to the very bottom of the section.
Stair material: Most likely steel or concrete but also considering timber to match the title of the "Stair Forest"

Stair ideas, sketches and notes

CARLO SCARPA: Personally felt these steps were the most interesting as it does not coincide with the traditional look of a set of stairs but rather looks like an uneven, broken floor surface.

FINAL BATCH OF 18 SKETCHES
I was not happy with the quality and creativity of the first 18 so decided to draw and publish a second batch
